Moveable refractory anchors
Moveable refractory anchors are commonly used in rotary kilns where there is movement due to the stress cause in the refractory. There anchors are fixed during the installation, but they become moveable during operations. This allows the refractory anchors to move with the refractory material when it undergoes any movement during the operation; therefore this reduces the stress for the refractory material.
