Furnace sight or observation door

Santura engineering fabricates observation doors from stainless steel. These observation doors are then mounted in the furnace opening. They are also called as furnace peep or sight doors.

Observation door are available in many varieties of shapes and size, which includes refractory with anchors, hardened glass and gaskets. The doors are cut, machined, assembled and then galvanised. Customers can send their specification with details drawings & MOC of the items.

Quality Steps Taken for fabrication

• Customer's drawings are sent for approval by them in case of any changes.
• BOM is analysed.
• Raw material purchases take place by the purchase department.
• 10% of the material are sent to NABL approved labs for testing and PMI for stainless steel items.
• Material is then sent to our shearing section for cutting and there on for forming.
• Next they are sent to our fabrication yard. Marking, assemblies and build up is carried out.
• Our internal inspectors carry out inspection before it's sent for CO2 welding.
• CO2 Welding is carried out for quality penetration.
• Inspection of weld is carried out for porosity.
• Material is now sent for finishing and then hot dip galvanising.
